Experienced Stock Person

A pedigree farm based in the midlands are looking for a Full Time and Part Time experienced stockperson to join their team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the daily management and care of the herd. You will work alongside the farm owners in ensuring all daily farming duties are completed efficiently. Skills: Excellent stockmanship skills Very organised with excellent record keeping abilities. Ability to work off own initiative and work efficiently. Strong work ethic and pride in your work. Full clean trailer licence is essential. Previous experience: Managing and caring for stock. Operating a wide variety of farm machinery. Preparing and showing cattle. Working on a busy farm and ensuring all livestock are effectively cared for at all times. A typical working day will be 8-5 but you will be expected to be willing to be available for additional work in busy seasons such as calving.
